The
University of Portsmouth Sailing Club is one of the
largest clubs within the Athletic Union, with a typical annual
membership of around 200 members. UPSC caters for the entire spectrum
of sailing abilities; from people who have their first sailing
experiences at university and regional, national champions through to
Olympic sailors, and has been named the 'Team to look out for in 2010'
by the British University Sailing Association. UPSC incorporates both
dinghy and yacht sailing and members are encouraged to participate in
both disciplines, from gentle sails in picturesque harbours to high
adrenaline blasts across the Solent!

are stored.

Unbeatable social events, with a very large outgoing group who are
always keen to meet new sailors.

It has been said by many members past and present that joining the
sailing club was the best decision they made when they got to
Portsmouth University. A degree is a tough undertaking, UPSC gives its
members a really enjoyable way to get rid of some of the stress and
tension that inevitably is encountered during this time. Its also a
great place to meet a group of likeminded people. If you think UPSC
